Project Description
For the majority of this class, we have been creating projects that are purely digital. In this new assignment, you will use InDesign to layout an article or comic. The comic or article will be illustrated using Photoshop, Illustrator or a combination of both. We will then print out each of these projects on a folded 8.5 x 11-inch piece of paper to be turned in on critique day along with your exported pdf file which you will email to me.
Final piece description
Comic
- The comic should be at least 1 page in length with a cover, credit and back page (so at least 4 pages 1 cover + at least 1 page of the comics + 1 credit page + 1 back of the comic).
- You will need to have multiple panels and at least 3 lines of dialogue to be entered in InDesign.
- The comic can be in color or black and white.
- This can be a section of a larger story or one that is self-contained to the page(s) just make sure that there is some sort of feeling of resolution to the piece.
If you’d like a link to some nice free comic fonts and some instruction on using them go here.
